Sussanna began music lessons at the age of 6 with the Yamaha Music School. She has won many piano competitions and was awarded her A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A. She has a Bachelor of Music from the University of New South Wales, majoring in Piano performing and completed her Master of Teaching (Music and TESOL) course at Sydney University.

Sussanna has been a choir conductor as well as performer on the flute and piano and has taught children and adults for 14 years. She taught at the Yamaha Music School in Jannali from 1997 to 2002. She is accredited private teacher by Music Teachers' Association of NSW and a qualified high school Music and ESL teacher. she completed an Orff music education certification (level one) course, which she shared her teaching experiences with other music educators and also gained more insights to music education.

She is also an active piano accompanist and a flute player. She is the permanent accompanist for The Sydney Jewish Choral Society
fom 2007 to 2010.She worked at Coogee Public school as a piano teacher from 2007- 2009. She was also one of the accompanists for the Sutherland Shire Schools Music Festival 2008. She participated in 2MBS FM's 35th anniversary of broadcasting. She recorded a few Spanish pieces with Marilyn Schock and they were broadcasted on Australia Day 2010. She is also a volunteer for the post of the choir director in Hwa Tsang monastery, Homebush.

She takes her music studio seriouly and went on to do a Master of Business in university of Sydney. The skills she learnt in the course have helped her effectively managing the studio.

Ira commences her piano studies at the age of 5 years old. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of NSW, majoring in Piano Performance. With 7 years of piano teaching experience, she has taught with many different well-known and respected methods, including Kodaly, Alfred, Yamaha and Snowman. She teaches students at all levels (beginner to advance), following student’s pace of learning with ongoing dedication to make lessons as fun as possible. Her students have regular opportunities to perform in school concerts and Sydney Eisteddfod piano competitions gaining valuable experience in performing skills.
